Street Help is a volunteer-run drop-in center for community members experiencing homelessness. Their mission is to provide sanctuary from the streets where the homeless will be given the dignity to provide for themselves and get the services they require. By providing these donations to individuals in need, you will offer a practical and sustainable solution to address the immediate needs of homeless individuals, providing warmth, comfort, and protection from the elements, while also promoting environmental consciousness and community engagement.

Ford City Community Garden is a volunteer run organization planting, harvesting, and teaching urban gardening.

Project Description
Employees will spend the day participating in a variety of sustainability focused projects to support these nonprofit partners, including:
Painting rain barrels for Ford City Community Garden
Crocheting sleeping mates with recycled/reclaimed plastic bags that have been weaved into plarn (plastic yarn)
Employees will also spend time participating in sustainability focused projects including building nesting boxes, mason bee houses & hydroponic herb gardens that they can take home to support pollination efforts.
