Project Description
The Hunger Action Center provides a great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. Volunteers will come together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.
Additional Information
ACFB is located just north of Four Points by Sheraton East of Interstate 225. There is a parking lot onsite.
Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with sneakers or work boots recommended. Flip flops, Crocs, sandals, or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing which you do not mind getting a bit rumpled. Some volunteers will be sorting refrigerated products so please wear long pants and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket with you. There are lockers on site to store any personal items. Bring a water bottle.
